Verizon Wireless has expanded its netbook lineup with the Gateway LT2016u, a 3G-capable mobile broadband computer. The Windows XP-powered device includes a broad range of features that should give users access to serious computing power anywhere they go.
The netbook features an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of DDR2 533MHz SDRAM, and a 160GB hard drive. The LT2016u's 10.1-inch WSVGA LED-backlit display should shine brightly, and Verizon promises up to 6 hours of battery life from the netbook.
In addition to 3G data connectivity, WiFi technology provides access to high-speed local connections. The computer also features a multiple format memory card reader that can read SD, XD, and Memory Stick cards.
