Sony is working on an application to support streaming PlayStation 4 games to Mac OS/Windows PCs, according to PlayStation's president of worldwide studios.
Shuhei Yoshida, in a tweet on Thursday, said "we are indeed working on an official application" supporting such a feature. Game-streaming on PlayStation is currently only supported via Remote Play, which transmits games from either the PS4 to the PS Vita. (The PS3 and PSP have also been supported, but Remote Play is standard to any PS4 game.)
Microsoft introduced game-streaming from Xbox One to Windows PC with the launch of the Windows 10 operating system. PlayStation streaming also is supported by the PlayStation TV device, which also allows PS Vita games to be played on the PlayStation 4.
