Today MTN Uganda officially announced through their Facebook page that they have reduced on the withdraw charges as long as you are withdrawing from MTN MoMo agents.
Most people have always complained about the high withdraw charges and the telecom giant has heard their call.
Don’t get excited yet, the changes are notable especially to those transacting between UGX 1,000,000 and 7,000,000 and the rates below UGX 1,000,000 have almost remained the same.
0.5% tax charge still applies on all transactions with MTN Momo.
Here are the new rates when transacting with MTN MoMo.
The charges are effective 16th October 2019
Note : The daily maximum transaction limit is 7,000,000 and the Maximum account balance is 15,000,000
